We all know what Nepal is going through, a political crisis of no Constitution and political transition. From past 8 years there is a state of political derail and chaos. The Constitutional Assembly (CA) has surpassed one deadline and is about to exceed its second deadline. With such vulnerable condition there is a huge outcry of lack of credibility and understanding among the public and political entities.
Within this transition period a lot of protest and mass gathering are happening to address the current need of the nation that is the "NEW CONSTITUTION".
People have been saying the 601 CA members need to act responsibly in finding a commonality to end the political deadlock in the country. No matter, How many states are there, there should be unity and it should be viable for the nation. It should not create a crisis situation rather should be done in mutual understanding and cooperation.
Today in one of such protest event बानेश्वर जाऔं, संविधान ल्याऔं something amazing happened. The event was organized by an open youth forum that was suppose to start at 12 o'clock from Maitghar and move towards the CA. But unfortunately due to lack of coordination the organizers missed to take the written permission, though they were assured a free pass by the District Administration Office verbally but on location they were stopped by the police.
The police on one hand was letting all the political parties and its supporter pass by but not us. The problem was due to small number and no political identity the police tried to suppress the group or mass from moving ahead. After all in a chaotic situation who would like to have one more group shouting and protesting increasing the risk of unwanted confrontation.
Apart from that I felt there were too many organizers who lack management skills. On one hand the crowed was getting tired where as on other they waited for 2 hrs and still nothing happened. Most of the mass that turned up were below 25 some were repenting saying we missed the Cricket match and some were seen dosing off in the midday sun but one could clearly read they wanted to unleash their frustration.
Some returned and some repented but after struggling for more than 2 hrs the program started and within half hour it ended.
One thing that really amazed me was the organizers, they were least prepared and they barely cared about the energy of the youths. The only thing that they cared for was moving ahead as if it was a trophy for them that they had to move ahead, even I tried my best to explain them that until and unless we showed our energy, the police wont believe us.
I pretty felt bad when I was misinterpreted of mis-guiding the mass to provoking slogans.
The whole scenario made me feel as if their objective was not addressing the true voice of youths. It really made me feel that the organizers wanted their own voices to be prioritized. They were their to hold their reputation. More or less what they cared for was moving ahead in glorifying their so called FB event where they least cared about the real passion and feeling of all those young people who came in with so much energy and passion.
Reality is passion and energy these two things can only affect only when it is genuine and it comes from inside or else it useless.
No matter the less the morale of the story is too many cooks spoil the broth, I think the less the better
