Emerging concept of citizen journalism

Citizen journalism is a new concept of reporting live action or news or events by any person or public with no manipulation of conditioning with the motive to give real and unbiased news using any form of communication.  News-making process of today has been diluted in many ways of commercialization, political infiltration, marketing prospects, government policies, legals intervention etc. where news are manipulated as per need. In many of the case scenario it is directly intervene for promoting and other prospects.

Especially in Asia the News making process is highly affected by various factors from the organization profit objective to political motivation to personal relation. The News-Making process has degraded  in absence of relevant core values.

If you look at the current practice of Nepal  real time news making process is getting popular as reputed news agencies in Nepal have missed with their authenticity.

In many of such examples, the reputation of the organization re-conciliate  the validation process where the News making process is compromised in terms of evidence and proof. News are manipulated and compromised in desired ways of creating benefits and serving the purpose of personal interest.

Though there are policies and regulations to make journalism and journalists more responsible towards the credibility of news and organization but the current political manipulation and influences hugely give any space for true morale and ethics.

Many of the times journalist have been seen taking money for publishing news and stories highlighting and promoting a brand and products.  

In-fact reality is the popularity of Internet and smart phone technology has empowered people to report real time news. It's the power of people to show and to practice governance in more dynamic way that is more credible and statistic.

Apart from this the popularity of social media has further enhanced the scope and role of social responsibility and   communication as means of popularity.
